Pixfront Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Roberto Saúl Pacheco Rivera ("we") about the use of the Pixfront game, which is distributed in Mexico. By playing online or buying something in the game you accept these terms and the Privacy Notice. Nothing in them limits your rights under Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Law. This is a courtesy translation: if it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Who can play

• Anyone can play offline.
• Online mode is for people 14 and older. If you are under 18, you need permission from your mother, father or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
• Purchases by minors must be made with the permission of their mother, father or guardian.

2. Your nickname and conduct

Other players see your nickname. It cannot:

• Be offensive, discriminatory, sexual or violent.
• Impersonate someone else.
• Include personal data such as full name, phone number, email or links.

Online, it is forbidden to:

• Cheat or modify the game.
• Exploit bugs on purpose.
• Use programs that play for you.
• Harass or bother others.
• Leave matches on purpose to hurt others.
• Try to damage or overload the server.

Reports and penalties: you can report or block a player from the room or the match menu. We review reports. If someone breaks these rules we may change their nickname or suspend or cancel their access to online mode. We will tell you why when possible, and you can ask us to review it at [email protected]. You may not use nicknames that look like Pixfront staff (such as "admin" or "support").

3. Coins, gems and styles

• Coins: earned by playing online matches (and optionally by watching a video, up to 3 a day). They cannot be bought. There is a daily limit on coins earned, and friends-only rooms give no coins.
• Gems: bought in packs through Google Play.
• Both are only used to unlock styles in the game. Some exclusive styles can only be obtained with gems.
• They stay in your account: if you delete it, they are lost.
• They have no cash value: they cannot be sold, transferred to someone else or exchanged for money.
• We may adjust how many coins you earn and how much styles cost; we will never take coins, gems or styles you already have, except for cheating or fraud.
• Styles: colors, emblems, base shapes and destruction effects. They are cosmetic only and give no advantage in the game.
• There are no random prize boxes: you always know what you get.

4. Purchases

• The only thing bought with money is gem packs, through Google Play. The price is shown in Mexican pesos before you pay, with VAT included.
• Gems are credited once we verify the purchase with Google. If they are not credited, it retries automatically when you open the game with a connection; if they still don't arrive, write to us.
• If you ask Google to refund a gem pack (or the charge is reversed), those gems are deducted from your account even if you already spent them: your balance can go negative until you top it up.
• Styles you buy with gems or coins stay in your account as long as the game exists, even if you change phones.
• Refunds: requested from Google Play under its policies. If something you bought is not delivered or does not work, write to [email protected] and we will fix it. This does not limit your rights: you can also go to Profeco (Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Agency).

5. Ads

The game shows ads between matches. It also offers optional videos for rewards. Children under 13 see no ads and players under 18 see no personalized ads. You can turn off personalized ads in "Legal and privacy".

6. The online service

• We do our best to keep online mode working, but it may have interruptions, maintenance or changes.
• We may shut down online mode with at least 30 days' notice in the game.
• The offline game will keep working on your phone.

7. Intellectual property

The game, its code, graphics, music and brands are ours or used with permission. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to play it on your devices. You may not copy, modify, sell or decompile it, except where the law allows.

8. Liability

The game is provided "as is", to the extent the law allows. We are not responsible for indirect losses, or for failures of your device, your connection or third-party services.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, including your consumer rights.

9. Changes

If we change these terms we will show them to you in the game. If the change is important, we will ask you to accept it again before playing online. If you do not accept it, you can keep playing offline and ask us to delete your data.

10. Governing law and complaints

• These terms are governed by the federal laws of Mexico.
• For any complaint, write to us first at [email protected]. You can also go to Profeco.
• The courts of your place of residence in Mexico have jurisdiction over any dispute.
